・「Agian　Age」から引用しよう：　ベナレスで発行された、あるパンチャンガによれば、１０月の始めに戦争がはじまり、１週間以上続くが、２週間を超えることはないとしている。しかし１０月１６日は、世界にとって最悪の日となり、その日を境に、インドの政治は不安定になるとしている。また、１０月は雨が降るともいっている。（訳者註：実際、インドに滞在している間、インドでは珍しく雨の日が多かった）

Brilliance of Hindu Panchangas

Here are some predictions from two among many Panchangas (Almanacs) where the remarkable predictions about world events are given in a routine way every year. I have already posted the predictions from Vishwa Vijay Panchange How superior these are, Jyotir Vigyan, being a super science, can be seen if one cares to read these year after year. More remarkable is the fact that the pandits giving these predictions are neither experts in international relations nor employees of any intelligence agencies like CIA of USA, ISI of Pakistan or of CBI of India. They just look at planetary positions, make their calculations and apply traditional astrological principles which have come down to us from our ancestors. These thousands of years old astrological predictive techniques are as valid today as they were when they were formulated. To ignore them and listen to some superstitious "pseudo scientists" of India who have been attacking astrology is a leap, a very dan! ! gerous leap into dark ages.

Now see with how much ease and in what a routine way such insights and peeps into future are provided every year between January and March when these Panchangas come out in the market.

As I have said we have hundreds of such published predictions in India. So, far I have been able to get three such from western astrology.

Hindu astrologers predict war, rain as Saturn dips

New Delhi, Oct 8: It was not just Nostrodamus. Our very own Hindu astrologers have panchangs that predict not only the present war-like situation but alos rains that the month of October will witness throughout India.

The Panchang used by purohits and Hindu astrologers for seeing this and mahurta clearly predicts war in October. One of the most popular panchangs used by Hindu astrologers is the one framed by Shri Mahavir Panchangam, who has been making panchangs for the past 58 years, and is published from Varanasi. This very panchang says that with the setting of Saturn the world will see war. Incidentally, on Sunday, there was an occultation of Saturn at 10:24 pm (IST) and the US strikes on Afghanistan started almost immediately. According to this panchang, the priod of strife will began from September 18. The next 15 days will have three Tuesdays which will be bad for the world. The panchang rightly predicts a scenario of suffering and political turmoil all over the world. The worst scenario will be in October. The panchang predicts that a sort of war will start in the beginning of October, it! ! will continue for more than a week but less than a fortnight. However, the moonless night on Tuesday, that is October 16, will be worst day for the world. Starting from that day, India will witness political instability. The panchang rightly predicts rains in the month of October. According to Hindu astrologers, October is a period of turmoil as this is the first time in 500 years that there is a gap between the period of shraadh and navratras. However, the bad period will end by Diwali.
