Normally in mundane astrology predictions should be made in advance, months or years in advance, to make it totally objective. I will give some examples.

1)In 1995, in Houston I had made the prediction which is also reported in a newspaper there, about the coming to power of BJP in India. It was when the Congress party was in power. In 1996, BJP had a thirteen days government but

from 1998 it has been in power continuously.

2)Marc Boney made prediction about Bush winning election in March 2000 when there were no poll surveys. In India, astrologers. Published prediction about the victory of Bush in September 2000 when poll surveys showed Bush leading clearly though Gore made up in later months.

There can be no objectivity in mundane prediction and critics of astrology accuse us of "guessing" , sometimes very rightly because at the stage at which such predictions are made in all cases the outcome can be safely guessed from extraneous information.

Predictions about earthquakes are most impressive if it is given for the month and the direction because no one can accuse you of any guess here.Eight of mine have correct and it has stunned many people. But these predictions must have an intensity of four or more than four on Richter scale, as otherwise eighty thousand quakes take place in the world every year.

Now the war is going and USA with its unparalleled military might can destroy any country. If the inevitability of such a war before 2002 AD was made, as I did in April 1997, it has credibility. Making it in July or October 2001 has no value.

Then if the chart is given and technical reasons discussed as can be done in a long article in an astrological journal like the Journal of Astrology, it acquires academic value also.

In the Jyotish list some planetary positions can be referred because mostly it is "astrology done in utmost hurry".

On a personal website also such limitations come into play. Still some academic and technical reason can be given.

As, I have said many times, no one has yet come out with a horoscope of USA accepted by others as valid. No one has given spectacular and convincing predictions much in advance to prove his point and win the argument.

It is not difficult to predict now that USA will attack Iraq also now and try its best, with better success this time, to dethrone Saddam. It then no is no prediction.
