Having seen how well this Indian mundane technique works,
note each year the following.
FIVE FOLD TECHNIQUE OF MUNDANE INTERPRETATIONS
1.
Movement of planets, particularly of Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu
and Mars.
2.The
time when they
(a) retrograde,
(b) direct,
(c) set and
(d) rise.
This
astronomical data is most useful in timing events and also
watching changing political, economic, social and military
scene.
3.
Conjunctions
When
planets are conjunct, particularly Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu and
Mars, they become very effective in influencing events.
4.
Similarly see when the planets oppose each other or are in
the seventh house from each other.
5.Note
the eclipses of the year, solar and lunar.
a) See
if the eclipses fall on the lagna or the tenth house or Moon
of a nation or of an important leader of the country. A simple
way of remembering it is to see where Rahu/Ketu axis falls.
For example in September 2001 RKA is along Mithuna and Dhanu.
b) If
the eclipse is visible in a country that country will always
been affected by the eclipse.
c) In
analysing eclipses, it is very important to see if Mars, Saturn
etc. are aspecting the eclipse point. It aggravates the situation.
d) If
Jupiter or Venus or Mercury gets associated with the eclipse
point, it saves the situation.
After
you have tested these, look into the results given in BRIHAT
SAMHITA OF VARAHAMIHIRA WHERE THE RESULTS OF ECLIPSES FALLING
INTO DIFFERENT RASHIS AND NAKSHATRAS ARE GIVEN.
Remember
1. Most
of the astrologers give only negative and frightening predictions
like war, destruction, floods, earthquakes etc.
2. There
has been no research into areas of man's positive achievements
in science, technology, arts, etc. Except me, for example,
no one has ever made prediction about a nation getting Nobel
Prize. I did it in the case of Japan in 1993 and in the case
of India in 1998 when an Indian got Nobel Prize in Economics.
3.If
your background about a country's history, development, many
aspects of its life are rich, you can interpret its horoscope
both for its achievements and failures, disasters, change
of government etc.
4. Analyse
a horoscope many months in advance so that your mind is not
conditioned by the propaganda or the news available,
5. Keep
doing new researches, which can be done if you keep a regular
record of events and note their astrological explanations.
