Lesson 2
--------------------------------
WHAT WILL YOU DO IF DO NOT HAVE THE HOROSCOPE OF ANY COUNTRY
?
We solve
the problem in India easily by taking the start of the Hindu
New Year and convert it into the time of the country concerned
and make predictions for it.
What
is the Hindu New Year?
Every
year when Sun is in Meena or Pisces and Moon also enters it,
note when the first lunar day of the bright half begins. This
is known as CHAITRA SHUKLA PRATIPADA. This is given in the
EPHEMERIS OF LAHIRI every year, at the bottom of the page
giving planetary position of March or April.
For example
for the year 2001, the Hindu New Year starts from 25 March
2001 at 6.51.AM
Note
Always check it by seeing that the degrees of Sun and Moon
are the same in Meena or Pisces.
Here
you will notice that Sun is10 degrees and thirty five minutes
and Moon is also 10 degrees and thirty five minutes. So it
is the first lunar day of the bright half of the month of
Chaitra corresponding to March/April in Gregorian calendar.
Interpretation
1.Make
a horoscope for this type, as though a child is born at this
time.
2.Begin
to interpret it as you should, by taking up one by one the
meaning of principles of mundane astrology.
3.If
you want to make predictions for another country convert the
Indian time into the time of that country and make a horoscope.
4. For
example you see in the case of neighbouring countries you
will get the same lagna but not with the same degrees. In
such a case the navamsha becomes important.
Let me
illustrate it with the predictions I gave in USA in 1993 November
for USA and Japan.
